Learn the foundational knowledge and techniques necessary for detecting and visualizing free abdominal fluid using ultrasound. This interactive course shows you how to acquire ultrasound images to confirm the presence or absence of significant intra-abdominal free fluid. You’ll also review examples of common pitfalls and limitations in the evaluation of intra-abdominal free fluid.
This online learning activity presumes that you are already comfortable with the basic information provided in the first component of the ACP POCUS learning series: "ACP POCUS: Obtaining Adequate Images for Interpretation".
