Voluntary contributions may be designated to the Neubauer Fund which supports our chapter's IM interest group student activities, including mentorship, career exploration and Leadership Day attendance.

Richard Neubauer, MD, MACP (1950-2011) led the Alaska Chapter with passion and enthusiasm for many years, exemplifying ACP’s core values of leadership, excellence, respect, compassion, professionalism, and responsibility.
 
He served as the Alaska Chapter Education Chair for many years, bringing CME of the highest caliber to Alaska’s physicians. He then served as the Alaska Chapter Governor and subsequently sat on the Board of Regents, chairing the Health and Public Policy Committee. He was a recipient of the Alaska Chapter Laureate Award and the ACP Distinguished Service Award. In 2011, while battling complications of amyloidosis, he was named a Master of the College. In 2015 he was the recipient of the Chapter Centennial Legacy Award.

Voluntary contribution to the Alaska Chapter of ACP.

American College of Physicians (ACP) members may elect to make a 100 percent tax-deductible charitable contribution to the Alaska Chapter of ACP in support of Richard Neubauer Student Activity Fund. This fund provides ongoing support for IMIG activities, including lectures, panel discussions, mentoring opportunities with local internists, and financial support to attend Leadership Day.

As the Alaska Chapter's agent for this solicitation, the ACP is located at P.O. Box 672149, Chugiak, Alaska 99567. (Phone: 907-350-2351). Based upon the Chapter's intended use of this contribution, your contribution to the Alaska Chapter of ACP is tax deductible and will be used to support the activities listed above.

None of your contribution is used to offset expenses of this solicitation. A full description of ACP and its Chapter and their activities as well as a financial statement for the previous year will be provided upon request.
