Your Impact
We used our voluntary contributions to focus our efforts around member engagement and charitable contributions.
Food insecurity has been an increasing concern, even among med students. As part of our efforts, we made a chapter donation to a medical school food pantry. In addition, we supported our Doctor's Dilemma competition, helping to offset the winning team's expenses at the national meeting, and generated additional contributions in support of a charity selected by the winning team-Charter Oak Health Center.
This program also allowed us to further support leadership development by funding a resident to attend Leadership Day. Our goal is to expand this program to include a medical student in the future. We also hope to expand our efforts to fund a medical student from each medical school to attend the National IM meeting.
Thank You 2025 Donors!
