My ACP journey started by writing an abstract and submitting it to our chapter’s scientific meeting. I was lucky enough to win the competition and was sponsored to attend the national ACP Internal Medicine Meeting. This meeting was where I realized all the opportunities that ACP provided. My local chapter then sponsored me to go to ACP Leadership Day where I was able to see the actual work being done by the ACP at the national level. These investments by my chapter led me to continued service to our chapter and ultimately to my election as Governor. The funds that we provide to our early career physicians, residents, and student members can make a huge difference!

The official registration and financial information of American College of Physicians, Inc. and the Mississippi Chapter of the ACP may be obtained from the Mississippi Secretary of State's office by calling 1-888-236-6167. Registration by the Secretary of State does not imply endorsement by the Secretary of State. ACP members may elect to make a 100 percent tax-deductible, charitable contribution to the Mississippi Chapter of the ACP in support of that Chapter's members' professional development. These funds will be used to support travel expenses to National and State ACP meetings. Your continued support is appreciated.
