NM Contribution

The ACP Doctor's Dilemma competition was exciting and contentious. The New Mexico team, with Dr. Carter, Dr. Thomas, and Dr. Alqawasmi, competed against teams from Minnesota, Georgia, South America, and Michigan. Unlike previous rounds, all teams reached the Final Jeopardy during this round, during which NM team answered the Final Jeopardy correctly, and tallied enough points to be third, but unfortunately did not qualify. Better luck next time! Thanks ACP New Mexico! — Malik Alqawasmi, MD | University of New Mexico

Malik Alqawasmi, MD

Thank you ACP New Mexico, for funding the opportunity to attend this conference. I enjoyed having the opportunity to meet residents from other programs during the poster session. The conference lectures were very informative and with a wide variety of topics, you were able to tailor the meeting to your personal areas of interest. I’m looking forward to bringing the materials I learned at ACP back to my clinical practice in New Mexico. — Alexandra Millhuff, DO | University of New Mexico
