Candidate Bios
Candidate Statement: I would amplify the diverse perspectives of internal medicine physicians across Ohio—urban and rural, academic and community-based, generalists and sub-specialists. Inclusive representation strengthens us and reflects who we are. I’m a native Ohioan, and I’ve served in ACP chapter leadership for over a decade, including as co-chair of the Health and Public Policy Committee and leader of the multi-specialty Ohio Coalition of Primary Care Physicians. I’ve mentored trainees and early career physicians as a clinician educator at MetroHealth and through ACP activities. Nationally, I'd bring to the Board of Governors a strong voice for innovation, well-being, and professional identity. I’m board certified in Internal Medicine and Clinical Informatics, with expertise in reducing administrative burden and responsibly integrating technology into healthcare. I serve on the ABIM Internal Medicine Specialty Board and previously on ACP’s Medical Informatics Committee. I’ve advocated at ACP Leadership Day on Capitol Hill for over ten years.
