2026 South Carolina ACP Abstract Competition

Prepare your scholarly work for the 2026 South Carolina ACP Abstract Competition. The competition will take place at the South Carolina Chapter Annual Scientific Meeting, October 16, 2026 at the Hyatt Regency, Greenville. 

This competition is open to ACP South Carolina Residents and Medical Students. 

Each submission requires both written abstract and a 5-minute voiceover PowerPoint. Submissions will receive preliminary judging to select finalists to give an oral presentation. Oral presentations will receive a final round of judging to select overall winners to receive a stipend to represent our chapter at the national ACP meeting. The abstracts not selected for oral presentations are encouraged to be presented as posters. Poster spaces are given on a first come first serve basis, according to time of submission.

  • Clinical Vignette
  • Research (including quality improvement and high-value care)

Submissions: July 1 - August  14
Judging: August 15 – August  27
Announcement: August 28
Meeting Registration Deadline: September 10
Oral presentations, Posters, and Awards: October 16, Hyatt Regency, Greenville
