This page offers clinical resources and education for evaluating and managing adults experiencing Long COVID symptoms, gathered through ACP’s participation in a collaboration across medical specialty societies to disseminate such guidance.

Included is expert guidance, largely gathered from Long COVID clinics treating patients across the United States, as well as DynaMedex®. Also offered here are educational resources from the ACP Washington Chapter and recent articles published in Annals of Internal Medicine related to Long COVID.

Economically Disadvantaged Patients at Greater Risk for Long COVID

A prospective observational cohort study, published in the Annals of Internal Medicine, found that people with social risk factors including economic instability and food insecurity at the time of COVID-19 infection were at greater risk for Long COVID.
