Suicide: A Growing Crisis
One of my own preceptors once told me, “Medicine is constant humiliation.” While the comment was made partly in jest, it revealed a deeper truth about the emotional toll of medical training. Imposter syndrome is real, and this persistent sense of inadequacy can quietly erode mental well-being. It's a reminder that even as we care for others, we must also create space to care for ourselves and our peers.

Pancytopenia Due to Amoxicillin/Clavulanic Acid: A Case Report
Amoxicillin/clavulanic acid is one of the most widely prescribed oral antibiotics in the world, largely due to its perceived relatively safe risk profile (1). While there are reports of amoxicillin/clavulanic acid-induced agranulocytosis or thrombocytopenia, pancytopenia has not been previously reported (2–4). We present the case of a patient who developed two episodes of pancytopenia associated with amoxicillin/clavulanic acid.
