Student Loans, Vaccine Access, and Medicare Stability at the Forefront of Topics Discussed at ACP Leadership Day 2026
More than 450 members of the American College of Physicians (ACP) traveled to the nation's capital this year for Leadership Day and urged legislators to take a stand for clinicians and their patients. Participants from 49 states and the District of Columbia logged 444 congressional meetings over the course of the annual ACP grassroots lobbying event, held May 12 and 13, 2026. Nearly half of the meetings were with members of Congress or senior-level staff.
