ACP Physician Peer Coach Training Program: Registration Open for Fall 2025
Become an ACP-trained Physician Peer Coach. You will learn evidence-based, validated coaching skills while supporting your own professional development and helping your peers at the same time. This 12-month program starts October 2025 and provides hands-on training and personalized feedback. Fully trained coaches are then eligible to be hired to coach for national ACP programs.
Calling All Current and Former WBCs! Join Us for a Special Event in September!
We will be holding a virtual celebration of our WBC program on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. ET. During this time, we will be highlighting changes to the ACP WBC Leadership Training Program as well as celebrating the accomplishments of the first 6 years of the WBC program. Registration links will be sent via e-mail.
Looking for WBC Captains to Lead Online Discussion Topics!
Based on consistent member feedback, we are working to build new ways to collaborate amongst current WBCs and WBC alumni. We are getting ready to debut a new online WBC Hub and are looking for WBCs with experience in the following topics: Advocacy/Policy, Community Building, Measurement/Research, Publication, and Public Engagement. If you are interested in serving as channel captain, please contact Jess Drass (jdrass@acponline.org) with your area of expertise.
WBC Monthly Group Coaching
Current WBCs who have completed their training are eligible to attend a 1-hour monthly group coaching session. Some recent topics were Storytelling for Advocacy and Quality Improvement to Support Well-being, facilitated by ACP WBC Coach and North Carolina Governor Marion McCrary, MD, FACP. Look out for e-mails with links to register. WBCs can access materials and recordings from group coaching sessions on My ACP.
