Voting Information
Voting for the next Governor-elect begins September 26, 2025, and concludes on November 7, 2025.
Eligible voting members (MACPs, FACPs, Members, and 2-year Resident/Fellow Members with an elect date of 9/1/2023 or earlier) will receive an election email containing their unique and personal voting credentials to vote online.
- Ballot materials are not sent from ACP directly. ACP has partnered with Survey & Ballot Systems (SBS) to conduct the election.

Candidate Bios
Candidate Statement: Since joining the ACP in 2008-2009, I have actively engaged in shaping my career through its focus on patient care and advocacy. As a full attending General Internist, I have strengthened my connection with our regional chapter, contributing as a practitioner, educator, scientist, and council member. My ongoing role in teaching residents and conducting community medicine research has fostered innovative approaches to the challenges in Internal Medicine. This involvement has equipped me with essential skills to enhance collaboration between academic and community Internists within the ACP framework.

Candidate Statement: I have been a clinician-teacher at the University of Manitoba since 2011. My dedication as an educator has earned me multiple awards at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. My leadership skills as a medical educator have earned me invitations to participate in multiple educational committees at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels within my institution, as well as nationally through the Canadian Society of Internal Medicine, the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons and the National Community of Practice of Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging Practitioners of the Departments of Medicine. Since being elected to the Fellowship of the American College of Physicians in 2023, I have participated in various leadership positions within the American College of Physicians, including the Prairie Chapter Governor’s Advisory Council, Awards Committee and the Wellness Committee as an ACP Well-being Champion.
